Personal

My aptitude towards nature and animals, hence my choice of career, is due to the fact that I was born and raised on a cattle and sheep farm. My immense admiration for fine arts, however, remains a close second favourite. I also have considerable interests in humanitarian issues, participative sport and music.

"I have employed James Lockyear twice now to do locum work, and I now employ him by preference. He is well liked by the partners, staff, and clients, and we have have found him immensely willing, flexible, hard working, and a very competent vet. I would give him an unreserved recommendation to any other small animal practitioner, and am very willing to back this up by telephone if requested." — Tim Newton, Park Veterinary Practice
